Sometime during the summer of 2018 Zvika Shmulevich succombed to a version of stomach cancer. Zvika had been a long time israeli dancer and had become one of the pillars of the Israeli dancing community known beyond the local Philadelphia regional area. On Dec 2, 2018, Zvika's wife Roseanne and his close friends Pnina and Israel Siegler hosted an evening of dancing at Beth Sholom. In addition, arriving from Israel was Mimi Cogen who acted as the leader/instructor for this evening. Dec 2nd in 2018 also was the first evening of Hanukah and so this memorial to Zvika was augments by lighting the lights for Hanukah. Below are some of the still pictures takken during the evening
