It was a special day of dancing on January 10th, 2019 as the session was already paid for and a catered dinner was thrown in. What was the occasion? To celebrate the Septuagenarians who dance among us. Yes, the leading edge of the baby boomers have arrived at this age and one of the dancers - who also several months ago turned 70 - decided a party was in order. Several things were a bit different than the normal Thursday night dance session. A major difference: dinner was catered by NaNa's kitchen whose owner, Gladys Fink Senderowitsch, personally delivered the food and set up the buffet.
Since the evening was already paid for, the evening drew novice and expert alike and provision was made for the 7 to 8 time slot to be a teaching hour for those who wished to partake. Throughout the evening it was dancing and eating and enjoying.
This web site received some advance notice as the dancer in question who set this up is one of our editors. We made provision for photographs by assigning Michelle Goldsborough to do the photography. Below are some of her pictures of the evening amd we will continue to add to these as they are received.
